ABOUT THE FOUNDER:

A Touch of Hope OT was established by Hemdat Bar,

M.S., OTR/L, a certified and registered occupational therapist who is fluent in Hebrew and English. Hemdat spent her career working with babies, children, adults, and seniors in a variety of settings, including daycare, school-based, home health, and outpatient clinics, with a variety of diagnoses and needs.

During her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Bar received a Scholastic Achievement Award for her dedication and accomplishments. The founder also has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Due to her accomplishments, she was chosen to be a member of the Honor Society Phi Beta Kappa. Hemdat is a dedicated mother to her three daughters. These personal and professional experiences and passion for caring for individuals with different needs led to the creation of A Touch of Hope OT.
